My i - ball Pen Tablet

i-ball pen tabletRecently bought an i-ball pen tablet 8060U. Actually went to Ritchie Street one evening in pursuit of buying a Wacom pen tablet, but because of its price most of the shops there didn't have the Wacom tablet, they said that it wasn't fast moving because of its high price compared to the Indian model i-ball.

So explored Ritchie street the entire evening checking out a lot of shops. In my opinion the following are some descent shops that are there,

  • Sethia Computers
http://www.sethiainfotech.com/
  • Delta Peripherals
http://www.deltapage.com/

  • Oasis
  • and Globe
I got the i-ball pen tablet from delta peripherals. They also had Wacom pen tablets, a 6 X 4 Wacom Bamboo tablet costs around Rs.5500, whereas a 8 X 6 i-ball tablet's cost was Rs. 3370 (actually they said 3400, we negotiated and got the discount :) . So went for the i-ball tablet.

Being a complete fresher to using pen tablets, my rating for the i-ball pen tablet would be 3/5 .
It gives really good control, and its nice. But, at times the the tablet's surface is a bit rough, but on the whole i would say it is a good one, for a starter.

And yeah they give you a cordless mouse also free with the tablet. It works on AAA battery just like for the pen and it could be used only over the tablet. Well, Personally I am not comfortable with using this mouse , the reason, well I don't want to make the tablets surface all scratchy.
